1st Round max. 20 min.
- Any prelude and fugue by J.S.Bach from the Well Tempered Clavier (Book I or II)
- 1 Etude by F. Chopin, F. Liszt, S. Rachmaninov, S. Prokofiev, A. Scriabin, I. Stravinsky, or C. Debussy.
- 1st movement of a Sonata by M. Clementi, J. Haydn, W.A. Mozart, L.V. Beethoven, or F. Schubert.
- If time permits, a work of the candidate’s choice
All pieces must be performed by memory.
Final Round max. 40 min.
- Three pieces from "Childhood Memories" by Alexey Shor.
- One original composition by J. Brahms, R. Schumann, F. Schubert, F. Chopin, F. Mendelssohn, F. Liszt, P.I. Tchaikovsky, S. Rachmaninov, S. Prokofiev or N. Medtner (no transcriptions allowed!)
- If time permits, a work of the candidate’s choice
